Quite a contrast to last week(!), tonight the weather was ideal - warm with just a light breeze from the East and North. Though this was only the first 15km WTT ridden in 2007, the times were comparable to most people's WTT bests for the whole of last season. Congratulations to Lindsey Bellinger, Diane Marleau, Jane Hammingh and Kathy Bradley for improving upon their previous database bests. Note that our first and second place riders, Ellen Pazdzior and Erika Revesz, new in the 50 year old class this year, both topped all of the earlier VCF WTT performances. Erika and Ellen have been involved in close competition throughout their VBF years as this graph shows, so we can expect lots of excitement in the VCF category this year!
